The argument seemed to turn into the old "websites done entirely in flash
are crap" "no they are not" chestnut based comestible.

Most people are OK with well deployed flash I think - but equally, I think
most people are annoyed by the majority of all-flash websites as they rob
you of your usual control and you have to struggle against a WhizzBang
gadget filled crapathon to access the information you require.
