FN-FORUM: Alternative to Enterprise Manager
date posted 1st October 2003 19:15
Hi Folks,
At work recently I've been having to deal with SQL Server and ASP as
opposed to my much-preferred MySQL and PHP, and I'm finding Enterprise
Manager a real pain in the rear to use compared to decent tools like
MySQL-Front and SQLyog.
Despite much searching, I'm unable to find a decent (preferably free or
at least cheap) alternative to Enterprise Manager that'll let me manage
multiple servers, has the ability to copy tables to/from those servers,
and will also let me edit the data manually.
So, this is a plea for help. Is there a decent alternative that I don't
know about, or am I destined to pull all my hair out struggling with the
sluggish MS offering?
Cheers,
Steve
