RE: FN-FORUM: FW: hello + dreamweaver is a git

date posted 1st November 2003 11:22

i actually just managed to solve this after over a week of scratching my
head and shouting at the computer

a month ago i bought a 17" TFT monitor to go with my laptop which is the
machine i do most of my development on - just by chance i opened dreamweaver
on the laptops screen rather than the new monitor - and everything worked as
normal!!!!!

that really is the most stupid bug in the world

Subject: FN-FORUM: FW: hello + dreamweaver is a git

Hi guys and girls,

Been on the list for quite a while, but have been unable to post anything
thanks to the wonderful people at Bt Broadband barring my email address from
sending emails - but at last the problem seems to have been resolved.

I was wondering if anyone has come across this problem I am encountering
with dreamweaver mx. I building a site using asp / ms sql / and vbscript,
but for some reason the add command function in dreamweaver isn't working
properly. Basically it will let me select my connection and stored
procedure, but won't let me assign a default value and size to any of the
variables - I can't add them in manually either coz the dialogue won't let
me complete unless I enter these values!

If I go back and try and edit commands I've added previously then the same
problem occurs. I've reinstalled dreamweaver and the updater, removed all
the extensions and even reinstalled sql server but still the problems
persists

Has anyone else ever come across this or know what the cause may be? Its not
the end of the world as obviously i can add them manually myself - but it
means I can't use any of the dreamweaver server behaviours or other
features - which rather defeats the object of buying the damn thing!
thanks in advance

Tim
