The adage "when all else fails, read the instructions" comes to mind.
The official M4MAC policy is not to rush into updates such as this without
evaluating first - which means let everyone else do that for me! Ha Ha! I've
been on this platform for 18 years .... ! There's always 'something' with
new releases.
Me - I'm on 10.2.8 at the moment, I have had one crash recently (that was
the first in 3 or 4 weeks) - computer wouldn't wake up from sleep with a
Microsoft application running in the foreground so I reckon that's pretty
good in terms of reliability.
My clients - most of them are still on 9.2.2 and happy to stay there for
now. It does the job for them. 9.2.2 is definitely the most stable of all
MacOS classic releases - which is just as well as there won't be a 9.2.3
One of them is getting OSX next week - she's buying a new iBook. That's how
most of the Mac users I deal with will move to OSX.
