RE: FN-FORUM: Printing HTML from vb6
date posted 11th November 2003 19:12
Dan,
I've never tried it with HTML so I don't know if it will print the rendered
page or the source BUT I've always found the print.printer function to be
very good especially when wanting to programmatically control printing, run
in the background and have relatively quick printing etc.
The other alternative is maybe some form of office automation? Is there a
print method exposed for the embedded i.e. control?

Subject: FN-FORUM: Printing HTML from vb6
Hi All
I'm writing a kiosk application and need to print a HTML file from VB6. I
don't want any popup nonsense - it all needs to happen behind the scenes,
and the printer just start coughing out paper.
Anybody know how to do this? Googling isn't bringing me a great deal of
joy.
Cheers,
Dan.
