The tall building on the right with the sorta lattice tower thing is Canada
Trust, then the Royal Bank Plaza (gold building), Bank of Montreal's First
Canadian Place is the white one with the blue 'M', Scotia Plaza is the brown
one to its right, the 4 black ones are the Toronto Dominion centre towers,
the eyesore highway in the foreground is the Gardiner Expressway (I thought
they were going to bury that thing), the much older building in front of the
towers is the Royal York hotel, I think you're standing on the top level of
a multi-story parking lot in the Harbourfront area and the CN Tower/Skydome
are out of view to the left. Behind you is the Lake.
The white stuff in the foreground is one of the things that I DON'T miss
about .... TORONTO!
As this is a Christmas topic, I should mention the annual Santa Claus
parade, probably this Sunday. I have patiently stood in the f*ck*ng icy cold
wind with a child on my shoulders more occasions than I can recall.
Er ... What's the prize or am I disqualified for being a smart ass?
