Hi Dave,
The picture was taken in the feb of 99, it was a quite mild -28 there. =
From
what I remember the picture was taken from a bridge that spanned the =
harbour
area just to the side of the hotel where I stopped (the raddison). It =
was
quite funny really, it was the start of my first day in Toronto, the =
night
before I had met a friend for dinner at some place called "red lobster" =
in
richmond hills. After the food I spent what felt like ages looking for
somewhere to stop and after several hours I decided that no matter what =
the
cost I would stop at the next place. That turned out to be the raddison
which was extremely reasonably priced.
All things considered it was a great break (even allowing for the =
mileage I
did driving to the east coast and back).=20
I've got some more pics (prettier ones) if anyone is interested.
