the guy who sits next to me has just left for the day, annoucing he's
being sent to somewhere in the caribbean (st lucia or somewhere - i
dunno. all greek to me) on sunday for work. bastard.

still, the rack of servers behind me is a) uncomfortably warm, like the
tropics, and b) has a noisy hum, which drowns out the voices screaming
in my head. so that's nice.

still, no candy though. gah!
