RE: FN-FORUM: Music Package Names

Cubase with Reason rewired is a killer combination - you get so much with
Reason and it uses amazingly little CPU. I've had a rack of 20+ instruments
and effects all working easily - I use Cubase SX2 for sequencing though -
it's much more versatile than the sequencer in Reason.

I dont mean i use it as i plug in..i rewire it in, and use mainly the NNXT
and the synths as instruments usually through the mixers into individual
channels on the hardware interface...they they show up as Rewire channels in
the cubase mixer panel.

Reason can't be used as a plug-in. It can be used with Cubase or other
sequencers using rewire.

Yes, I know a lot of people use it effectively as a plugin in a digital
studio context.
BTW Dylan what do you think of Protools and/or Logic - I find Cubase has
a very difficult to learn interface, Logic is much more intuitive, but
it's Mac only now, of course...
