Why would you pay more to PC World for a lower spec PC, when you can get
more bang per buck with 3 years next day on site as standard from Dell. Dell
are fine for business use - tech support is in Ireland and they really do
send engineers out. Buy Optiplex, Latitude and Precision, the business
ranges, and negotiate a bulk price. My clients manage to get a discount for
just 5 or 10 machines at a time.
I did training for a rollout a few years ago run by PC World; they were
pretty bad (just about as bad as when they were SCS - impossible to be
worse). Couldn't even choose contractors (presumably) who knew how to do a
corporate rollout as opposed to a home network. I wouldn't even think of
using them for business. They might be better now and it might depend on
your local branch
