Aye - I know where you're coming from, Bob, my good man - if I hadn't heard
it being trumpeted so widely I'd have been a little humbler in my
expectations. I was just surprised at how rough and ready it is. Something
as elementary as that missing makes one wonder what else has been left out.

I wouldn't want to suggest to a client that they upload a transparent gif
whenever they haven't an image - it just seems so lame. The whole area of
image upload seems to be something that's only very rarely catered for with
anything even approaching common sense - it's not just OSCommerce's problem.
