RE: FN-FORUM: PC World vs Dell - recommendations?

Get a business account with PC World
Watch the prices in their catalogue over components mind, if it looks over
priced haggle and they'll price match.
As for service problems, I maybe one of the lucky ones as I've had no
problems.
At least your support calls wouldn'y br going to India (yet), but I'm sure
they'll jump on the bandwagon soon enough [frown]
Or go with Dell if you want your help desk to be the other side of the
world...

Subject: FN-FORUM: PC World vs Dell - recommendations?
Hi all,
I'm about to start an office network upgrade for a client, and one of the
things being discussed is purchase of new machines.
I'd like to get the machines from PC World, primarily because I haven't
heard many horror stories regarding PC World support. Yet.
However, the client may want to use Dell, who I've heard plenty of horror
stories about.
Would anyone have any comments on either of these two companies and their
PCs/service/support?
Many thanks,
iain
