Postgresql is often thought of as better than MySQL.
You might want to consider http://melati.org/=20
if you are confident with java programming.=20
The good thing about Melati is that you can use=20
Postgresql, hsqldb, mysql, mssql or (potentially)=20
oracle.
Melati works with a template engine, currently either Velocity or WebMacr=
o.=20
The down side is that the Melati community is quite small.
I am very prejudiced against MS, spend the money you would spend on licen=
ses=20
on employing prelancers :)
