There is no reason why the developers in India will not do a good job, they
may do a worse but they may do a better job than you, it is not politic nor
correct to suggest that the quality will not be OK. The only route to take
is the customer service one:
Telephoning you is a sensibly priced option should support be needed;
you are UK based so can be called to account easily should you not do what
you say you will do;
you have a proven UK record with UK references
We had this debate at some point recently and I may be changing my mind a
little here but I don't think these companies are a huge threat to us, they
may be cheaper (and mostly now they are not much) but they are often unable
to offer the immediate action that a local developer can and face to face or
knowing that a developer is UK based can engender so more much trust than a
long-distance relationship
If they are set on the indian developer idea can you offer to project manage
for them?
