It's superb. Very, very funny, wonderfully black and bitter in places,
which is just my kind of humour. Its lessons in how to punctuate might
work for some, and drilled in by repeated scornful mockery of the common
ones, might actually stick!
But a guide book it's not.
Her basic thesis is correct, though; the rules of punctuation are really
very simple and no matter how old you are or how you were educated it is
just *laziness* that makes people not follow them.
There is no mystery as to where to place a comma, a full stop or another
terminal punctuation mark. Commas obey a few simple rules and you can
simply discard the rest of them: they are frequently redundant.
