I've got a wireless optical mouse from A4 Tech. Battery holds its charge
well, but you can actually plug it in to the USB charging wire and use
it like a 'normal' corded mouse should you need to. It's a much better
arrangement than having to cradle it to recharge. It cost about £30 last
year so will no doubt be cheaper by now...
