RE: FN-FORUM: Mac Apache/MySQL
date posted 22nd January 2004 13:38
Max OS X is built on a flavour of unix called freebsd which is great.
www.freebsd.org is ya best bet and www.freebsddiary.org as well. Setting up
PHP and MySQL is quite simple and the docs on the php.net and mysql.com
websites are usually great!
I could provide you with some custom protocols for them if you like? just
contact me off list if so.
cheers
Rob

Subject: FN-FORUM: Mac Apache/MySQL
On the subject of databases I'd like to learn more about them but being Mac
based I'm interested in hearing peoples experiences of PHP & setting up
MySQL on Mac OS X. Straightforward? Something an absolute beginner could do?
Cheers
