I thought it was only a London thing, but obviously not. It's a shame

This govt subsidy. I've had three local companies ring me about it since the
new year. I believe its for small businesses for up to 5 staff from each

IIRC you set the top to 50%, then set the top margin to -(h/2) where h
is the (fixed) height of your container. May want to repeat for
bottom, but probably not nec.

Adwords and the search database are independant of each other. Google serves
you Advwords campaigns based on the keywords you specify.
You can have an Adwords listing without any of your sites pages...
