I suspect the advice is going to be "learn from your mistakes"...

I've just had that problem today! I am a student, I freelance to try to
supplement my terrible part-time job income, and I've spent just over
eight months working with a company to design a form of Management
Information System customized to their needs.
They fired their middle-man who basically mis-communicated the project
to me, twice, so I was in the third version of the solution,
redeveloping at no extra cost, through pride of my work.
After two months of very, very sparse contact, one of the junior
employees informed me today: "I think he's given up on that".
I've missed coursework deadlines to try and accomodate them and I've
written the application twice before, but now I am stuffed, quite
basically.
Anyone have any advice ?
Kind regards,
Baris
