I used to use a trick when I was using AOL for a couple of months which
may or may not work now. Do a view message source on a message you have
received via AOL, look in the headers for a mail server machine name,
something like "imo-m03.mx.aol.com". If you're connected via AOL you
*might* be able to use an address like this as your outgoing smtp
server. It's also possible that AOL don't allow this anymore and this
is a useless piece of advice but it might just work. Not sure if AOL
would like you doing this either so no warranties from me etc. yadda yadda
