Yup,
I've had this too. Proper mess.
I just did the re-association and it worked fine afterwards. Oddly enough

Yes, you have to restart the PC to use chkdsk on the system drive, that's

Great! Got it working again... Not sure exactly how though. I defragged the
computer but that didnt seem to work.
Then I ran the chk,dsk and it said:

Nothing wrong with n/w via two nics, cheapest way!!!
Glad you got set up no problem, always makes you feel better about
things when there are no hiccups!!!
