To be honest the flash element adds little and is a bit of a mess... choose
the flash version, then CR Mackintosh from the menu, then the home menu
option, and suddenly you're in the middle of the tex...

I've recently worked in a corporate who, whilst allowing Internet access to
most people, didn't have Flash installed and had nailed down the PCs so as
to stop anything else being installed.

I check my email on wap and find that very useful.
I've also bookmarked pages for train times to/from my local station which
I've also found useful.

No reasons really but if there's going to be alot of heavy content loading
such as quality images etc, then html would be the alternative if he doesn't
want to upset modem users.

If you really don't want to do flash give him a quote for a full flash
based web site along with a quote for an html site, you can then run
down why the cost is greater due to development times...
