RE: FN-FORUM: Why????

Danny
I really don't think you are being that fair to the posters on this
forum.
I have not been here very long, about a month, but I have never seen
people ridiculed because of their requests for help. I am always wary of
posting to forums, as with most people scared of rejection and ridicule,
saying the wrong thing etc. but since I have been here my posts have
increased, realising that although some people do hold strong opinions
(MS is Crap, Linux is crap, IE is crap, Netscape is crap etc etc etc)
they tend to be expressed in a manner that I have never found offensive.
I have only just started freelancing full time, and do miss the people I
used to work with, not being able to go for a brew, not having someone
to chat to because you are board... This forum has kept me sane.
If any of you are Arseholes then the arseholes haven't posted in the
last month.

Hi Again,
Nope - not for my personal entertainment - thats a bit sad.
I cannot show exact posts, because they were not addressed to me and nor
do I
have the authors permission and I really don't want to go to the land of
libel thanks.
I made the original post to raise awareness, that not everyone is as
skilled
as you (not you personally, I mean everyone) so should be treated with
respect and not ridiculed.
So what if they don't know the correct terminology, a bit of patience is
required.
