As far as I know, your gateway cant be 0.0.0.0
If your server is 10.0.0.4 then your gateway needs to be a similar number

I wouldn't use the APIPA range (169.254) as it is an MS specific thing.
You need to make sure that the subnet mask is the same for the Raq and the
PC. For a small network like yours, I'd use 255.255.2...
