I have a very stable WinXP pro pc,
Athlon 2200 with a gig of ram, (don't laugh please) the memory is so
that Virtual machines can be used to test various configurations of
systems before production...

My old windows 2000 box stayed up for several weeks at a time using
all sorts of stuff from fireworks to VNC to Quickbooks - browsing with
exploder and moz etc etc you name the machine did. Now belon...

Did you look at the cost of the replacement ink cartridges?
£21.98 for a black, £24.99 for the colour. No wonder the printer is going
cheap; they'll make up the difference when you buy ink.

The browser "issue" is nowhere near as bad in the heady days of Netscape
4 and IE 3.1.
I don't think anyone should have any issue with a site asking them to
use particular software to use their servi...
