define W3C compliancy?

accessibility? to A, AA or AAA rating?

or just to meet web standards?

a better clue about what your idea of strict means would help.

I don't think it's a pain at all and cross browser with web standards is
not that hard if you design with it in mind from the start.

sure everything meets the spec, once we agree what that is ;o)
