sorry Darren - i hope you don't think i was knocking the lancers
project - it was fun to be part of.
i was just making the distinction between a real life project and
something that's done 'for fun' in my previous post...
that's interesting to hear that .NET did a similar thing Richard. i'll
have to look up the articles - but yes, what i was thinking about was a
bit more than just how different designers treat a brief. i'm trying
to see how many new techniques people really use, and how much thought
/ energy really goes into the everyday site.
it would be interesting to create a CSS Zen type site as Tony
suggested, showcasing the original thought that an exercise like this
could produce.
