Hmmm ok will have a look at that... thanks for the suggestion.

The stuff in the spans is created by htmlarea3 when the text is edited
in Mambo. An odd way of dealing with the span in IE5Mac could be it I
suppose...

Neither had I until now.

Yeah I did have a look through this and couldn't see anything relevant.
