ems are my friend ;-)

though i just near fried my brain trying to figure getting the end
curve gif to appear the right size in ems! (must be the hot weather!)

i don't think i'll be attempting the whole page... ;-)

though, i just checked in IE6 windows and the GIF doesn't even appear
when sized in ems! so back to good 'ol broken images...
