good fer you. you'll be more than happy with a 2ghz G5 running panther.

from what i understand, you need to have two graphics cards - so that a=20=

monitor runs off each one...

but i know apple are doing some funky stuff with GFX chips to enable=20
multiple monitors - so you better check on that one.

yes, there is a DVI --> ADC lead available though.. but i think the=20
two connectors are running off a single GFX card. you better check it=20=

out.

GET IT!! i think indesign rocks - stopped using quark years ago and=20
never looked back. especially if you know illustrator and photoshop. =20=

they fit seamlessly together - and indesign can spit out anything.

i usually supply printers with the indesign document, EPS export of all=20=

the document pages (which they can send straight to RIP if they so=20
wish...) and a high resolution PDF.

not enough printers seem switched on to indesign yet... but usually=20
they can print from one of those options.

go here for memory:

http://www.crucial.com/uk/

1gb should suffice, 2 will be nice :-)

laptop memory is always far more expensive than desktop memory - but=20
you have to be careful about the *quality* of ram you buy. that=20
cheaper ram can fuck up your powerbook faster than you can say 'bang'. =20=

no kidding.

the memory advisor on crucials front page will help you pick good=20
quality ram. (if you're listening neelesh - i had this out with the=20
dudes in compusa in america when i got the 1gb chip for you - i got=20
them to open up a new powerbook and test it first to make sure it was=20
good ram.)
