Ah..
now that turns it on it's head, but makes a lot more sense.
I should be uploading images and recording image data completely
seperately to the item entry process.
maybe even batch uploading....
then what I could do is present a controlled search of images, and then
the user could tick select the ones they want for the item record they are
adding. (I forgot to mention image galleries on a single item... - 3 pages
of a scanned magazine article for example) and then each would be
automagically linked...
