aaron,
just ask your client for some of the money! simple as that.
on long projects clients cannot expect us to be twatting around for
nothing.
it's unfair and unrealistic to expect us to wait two to three months
before we see any cash.
talk to them about staged payments.
i always invoice 'as i go along' with work.. as soon as a client has
passed their approval on a stage of work i send them the invoice for
that week / two weeks..
if they want to pay on a fourteen day invoice, that's fine by me, but
at least i have regular cash coming in.
