Well, yeah, probably.
But basically you need to ask that of all 70,000 people you're about to
email. Just hope none of those people is in a particularly bad mood
when your email arrives.
In particular, note that you'll probably have a really hard time
sending any email to aol.com for a while.
Every time you get a spam do you think "oh - it's ok for them to send
me a single friendly email because i expect no follow up from this?"
