Hi everyone,
I won't bore you with the details - basically, I'm planning on going
canoeing in Peru with my school for my final year. I guess it is
unlikely that any of you are in a similar situation as you all sound...
older (without putting too fine a point on it ;) ). Basically the trip
will cost me 'a lot of money' (=A33000!), and in desperation I thought I
would ask if anyone has done / will do / knows anyone that has done /
will do (etc etc) a similar sort of thing, because I need a way to get
the money within the next year! I have heard that there are many
charitable trusts out there that are prepared to help funding these sort
of trips, but can be quite hard to find. Anoyone know any? I would also
like to try and earn the money myself, but unfortunately there aren't
many people that are willing to employ a 17 year old (to do web
development work).
Sorry, I just thought I'd run this all past you in the off-chance that
someone might have some experience and/or suggestions. If people are
happy to discuss their cats, this can't be too off-topic after all.
(Though maybe 'OT' stands for 'on-topic'!)
Thanks and best regards,
Joe.
