FN-FORUM: Pc component upgrades

Hi

My dad just asked me about which motherboard/processor combo to
choose if he wanted to rebuild his aging pc.

I haven't been following the component market for the last three
years so I'm totally out of touch, which s annoying with the huge
range of new processors now available.

So I said I'd ask about. I guess he's loooking for a good value
MB/Processor/Memory combo package.

Any advice greatfully recieved.
