Re: FN-FORUM: Peru expedition [very OT]

Google Adsense is really easy, go to http://www.google.com/adsense/ to
sign up. They only pay out when you have $50 worth of credit built up,
then they send you a cheque. The system creates some javascript for you
to slap on your pages, it's very easy to use.

Paypal is only slightly harder. I had to use it to build a 'button'
linked to a payment a couple of months back to let someone in America
pay me for some work and I hadn't used it before for anything. Setting
up some sort of 'tip jar' should be pretty easy. Don't let too much
money build up in the Paypal account just in case something odd happens
to it - I don't know anyone who's had problems with Paypal, but you do
hear rumours of people's accounts being suspended and stuff like that.
It would be horrible to lose a few hundred quid of raised money.

The two weeks dental stuff at the end should give you a good hook - it
gives people something to support so you're not just on a jolly, which
is good all around. I think most people won't be too against you
enjoying yourself, as long as the work you do at the end is seen as
worthwhile.
