FN-FORUM: Best Linux Distribution?

Hi All

I have acquired a pentium 4 box, with 256 mb of RAM, that used to be loaded
with Windows ME (*spit*) until it crashed horribly. I'd like to load Linux
on the box instead, and use it as a separate dev box/workstation, running an
apache server if possible, so I'm looking for ideas on what you think would
be the best Linux distribution to download in your experience?
