If it's the Access-based version, then you're talking about a database
designed for a LAN running over a WAN. Expect poor performance unless you
have at least a 10Mb connection. If the new box is to run PC Anywhere - or
similar - that's almost certainly the right way to go.

Got asked about running Sage over VPN so the PCs in the factory can
can talk to the accounts box in the head office. Apparently they've got
someone ready to quote for a Windows 2K3 box and what have you to
implement this.

I reckon it can be done with a £70 quid Linksys router from Amazon.
Anyone got any comments?
