FN-FORUM: Experienced Graphic Designer looking for work.

Hi all,

I've just joined the Forum, and am interested in speaking with anyone who is
looking for a permanent or freelance Graphic Designer

I am a 31 year old Graphic Designer based in Warwick (but will travel for
the right position), with six years training in design related subjects, as
follows:

09/1989 - 06/1993 Warwickshire College of Further Education
BTEC ND Graphic Design
BTEC ND Technical Illustration

09/1993 - 06/1995 Bournemouth & Poole College of Art & Design
BTEC HND Graphic Design
LSTD Typography Award

Since then I have had over five years experience in creative design, repro
and print for consumer and business clients. During that time I have worked
on briefs such as corporate identity, exhibition graphics, corporate
brochures, catalogues, promotional literature, packaging and branding. I
have a creative flair with a keen eye for design and typography. Having had
twelve years software experience my knowledge extends over the follwing
packages, with the present standard reached in brackets:

Photoshop (Expert)
Illustrator (Expert)
Quarkxpress (Expert)
Indesign (Advanced)
Freehand (Advanced)
Flash (Advanced)
Fireworks (Basic)
Microsoft Excel (Basic)
Microsoft Word (Intermediate)
Powerpoint (Intermediate)

I have also had some experience creating layouts and graphic elements (in
Photoshop) for web and have a basic knowledge of Dreamweaver. I have a PDF
of my CV and an interactive version plus samples of my work for anyone who
may be interested. A salary of £25,000 and above would be prefered and with
regards to freelance work I would be looking for a rate of £20 per hour and
above, but this can be negotiable depending on the kind of work that is
involved.
