Why is it when you try to make things easier for the customer they
don't appreciate it...
I just got off the phone from a customer who I had some time ago
designed their website, well last week they asked me to design some
really simple templates and also come in for a couple of hours of
tutorial on how to change them, so I did that and when I was there they
made text changes to the templates, so then they asked me to change a
link on the templates, so I downloaded the templates they had made
changes to and just changed the links on them, and made sure I didn't
change back any changes they made last week to the text, well I get a
phone call asking, why have I changed the templates, they don't look
the same- the text isnt the same as the original templates, any amount
of explaining on my part - just doesn't seem to make any sense to
them...at first they had even forgotten they had asked me to change the
link and didn't know why i was resending the templates back in the
first place...????....Plus I can't really see me being able to charge
for any of this extra changes I am making to the links etc.
Arghhh!
