Supposed to be fine for what it does, AIUI. Never had a whizz on one
personally, but know a couple of happy owners.
If you have more money than sense you might want to look at the BMW
GS1150/1200 range ;)

At the risk of giving offence, the first comments I'd offer are likely
to be around questions such as:
- how long have you been riding?
- what kind of training/experience do you have?
- what do you want a "big" bike for?
- is this a return to biking, a start of biking, or what?
- the above not withstanding, want to buy my CBR1000 for a stupidly
large sum so I can get something else? ;-)
Most of those are obviously aimed at working out whether the next bit
of advice needs to be "Get some training so you don't stick it into
the scenery", although as you're after a TDM not an R1 etc. I suspect
I know the answers :)
The ones on "What do you want a big bike for?" stand either way - a
TDM might not be the best tool for the job.
Cheers,
Pete
