Ok, Ok, I consider myself quite successful and intelligent and a better
driver than most blokes I know, but I DO have the occasional blonde
moment.

Like the other day, I disconnected the hose pipe from the tap to wash
something out and some water trickled out. A few hours later water was
still running down the driveway and I couldn't work out why so much
water had stayed in the hose pipe. I had topped my pond up with the
hose pipe a few days earlier and left the other end in the pond so it
was basically syphoning the pond down the driveway and it was now
nearly empty again. I'm still amazed how, when the walls to the pond
are so deep it managed to suck the water out!!
