Hi John,
> Anything you have seen or fancy?
To be honest that's the problem, I have no idea what I am looking for.
At the moment we have a small Olympus 35mm with Zoom, which is OK for
most of our needs and will take good shots with a good film and I have
messed around with decent SLRs and Hi-8 handicams in the past.
The trouble is I am fed up with scanning photos so now want to go
digital and also want to do more video stuff.
Not sure of the quality of video on the modern 'stills' cameras so
don't know if to go for one that does both or separate stills camera
and video camera.
Photos will generally be of children, dogs, scenery. Videos of
children playing, school shows, etc.
A good zoom is essential and Low light capability for the video would
be handy.
Obviously the ability to download photos and video to a computer is
essential.
Any pointers from you or others on the list would be appreciated:-)
