FN-FORUM: connecting ichat/rendezvous from a PC

I was googling for the answer but couldn't get any sense out of it.
All I want to know if there is a way to connect to ichat using a PC
which is on the same internal network as the Mac users already using
it. Before I install all available Chat clients to try I was hoping
someone with more Mac knowledge than me (that's easy) might have a
clue or to for me.
