Re: FN-FORUM: In a good mood - Now camera advice

In regards to your choice of camera, take a look on dpreview.com or
steves-digicams.com, I'm sure you can find something that suits. I also
read the user comments on CNet reviews, they seem helpful.
While we're on subject, I wouldn't mind some opinions/advice either! I
am also looking into getting a new camera soon. I've been looking at the
ultra-compact models as I want something that'll fit nicely in my pocket
for random, but nice quality stills and the odd clip of video. The
Pentax Optio S4i looked great until I saw the picture quality, same with
the Casio ultra-compacts I've seen so far. The Canon S500 looks pretty
good, but at the moment my attention is on the Sony DSC-W1. I previously
had a DSC-F717 which was awesome, but I ended up hardly ever using it
because it was such a chore to carry about. So... does anyone have any
comments on the Sony DSC-W1? Or some alternatives?
Niall :-)
