Heh, my Honda would be well within your budget - it's even older than
that TDM. However, it's not entirely suited to what you want, and I
wasn't being particularly serious. TBH it's not worth selling unless
I could find someone really, really stupid with pots of cash and no
idea of what it's worth ;)
If you want something for scooting about That London I'd have thought
any trailie, or even a mid-weight "sensible" bike would be ideal.
IME of driving around Town once you get above a reasonable 250/500
it's all academic anyway. What you want is light, narrow, and
preferably tall for good visibility - if anything the TDM is going to
be OTT if it's purely for London work.
Whatever, bike purchases are normally heart not head decisions, so
just get what you fancy, enjoy, and keep it shiny side up :)
