Instructions.
Turn on the computer. Before the blue "Windows 98" screen appears, keep
tapping F8.
A menu should appear. With the up and down arrows, select "Safe Mode"
and press enter.
Windows should start and your graphics should look large.
Click OK to the message about safe mode.
Click START, RUN.
Type msconfig and press enter.
Click the Startup Tab. Untick everything from the list.
Click ok and quit but don't restart.
Then go to START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL, INTERNET OPTIONS.
Click the Advanced tab, scroll down until you see "Enable third party
browser extensions".
Click the Security tab, click Internet. Click Custom Level.
Scroll down to the scripting section and disable all scripting options.
Click OK to everything and restart your computer.
Go and download that program I told you about (cwshredder)
Run it.
Run Adaware
Go back into Internet Options (START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL, INTERNET
OPTIONS), security tab and then re-enable scripting.
Quit everything
Click START, RUN.
Type msconfig and press enter.
Click Startup
Look in the list for anything to do with norton, such as NAV, NAVAP32,
NAV32 etc, and re-tick it.
Click OK and restart your computer.
Cross your fingers.
