John, I am spyware free, have been since they invented the stuff and=20
will continue to be so for the foreseeable future. In order for me not t=
o=20
be spyware free I will have to undertake all the following steps:

1) Start using Windows as my main O/S.
2) Start using Internet Explorer as my browser of choice
3) Stop myself from turning off ActiveX etc etc
4) Start visiting dubious websites.

I'm not going to tell you to stop using Windows, but you do *not* have to=
=20
accept spyware as some sort of inevitable consequence of using the net.
