RE: FN-FORUM: freelance single parents??

It could be worse, you could be like us who were washing the car then
realised that the car was in fact 3 months out of date !
No reminder from them, nothing.
Went to the post office to tax it to be told that as it was so long ago
they didn't have any discs and we'd have to do it directly with the
DVLC.
Phoned them to be told that I couldn't use the normal renewal form
because it's out of date. Where can I get one of these forms from ? The
postoffice. Yes, that place I'd just been to to be told that I couldn't
get my car tax. Did they give me one ?! Did they bo!!ocks.
In the end it all worked out, but you'd think there would be an easier
way of doing it all. Surely now that all the insurance companies are
linking up their DB's they could get something in place where by the
MOTs, Insurance and other data could be linked and you can buy it
online.

well i could have done, but car tax ran out today, actually really
yesterday. Tomorrow or Friday I cant go as I have to start that office
temp job.
Plus yesterday was spent frantically trying to find the SORN tax renewal
form so I could renew the tax, so really I am a shambles and I ought to
just knuckle down and organise myself, and stick to a strict regimented
timetable... easier said than done, but I'm determined to do it. thing
is I already have "notes to self" plastered all over the place... I just
need another brain perhaps I think, as this one is full to bursting.
