FN-FORUM: Website music copywright question.

I want to use a 30 second audio clip of me playing guitar (god help us) on a
flash website. I was wondering if it's ok to cover other artists work or
whether it needs to be my own arrangement. Are there any hard and fast rules
about the public broadcasting of other artists work?
